ACA Insurance for Individuals and Families

You cannot be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition
Any previous denial of insurance will not impact your ability to qualify for ACA
Your children may stay on your plan until the age of 26
Under the "Individual Mandate" all persons are required to have health insurance or pay a tax penalty
Depending on your income and family size you may receive subsidies on your insurance from the federal government
To avoid the penalty, you must either obtain minimum essential coverage during open enrollment and maintain it throughout the year or get an exemption
